Greek cutback deal imminent
Greek political leaders have reportedly reached an agreement on a new round of cuts. After a seven hour crisis meeting the latest austerity measures have been agreed and will secure a €130 billion bailout for the country. Dublin rents on the up
Rents in Dublin are on the increase according to a survey undertaken by daft.ie.  Results show that the capital is averaging just over a thousand euro per property, significantly higher that the rest of the country. The report also shows that the number of properties available to rent at the start of this year was at its lowest level in three-and-a-half years.

Computer giant Google  plans its first stand- alone retail store at its European headquarters in Dublin after a trial at a computer shop in London, according to a filing by the world’s most popular search engine. A man in his 50s has been arrested after a drug seizure in Co Kildare. Gardaí found a large quantity of cannabis plants while searching a premises in the Kilcullen area in the early hours of this morning. The haul has an estimated street value of €800,000. Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Dublin last year. Michael Kelly, was shot dead last September outside an apartment block in Clongriffin. Mr.Kelly was a convicted drug dealer and was suspected of ordering a number of gangland murders.
