Dublin man jailed over knife attack
A 25-year old Dublin man has been jailed for 4 years at the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, for the stabbing of Matthew Miller in Blanchardstown over 2 years ago.
David Quinn of Wellview Park, Mulhuddart pleaded guilty to violent disorder and threatening to use violence while he was an uninvited guest to a party in the early hours of the 19th of January, 2010.
Quinn wrestled with one of the guests, Matthew Miller before stabbing him twice and leaving him with two deep wounds in his stomach.
Judge Martin Nolan suspended the last two years of the sentence and said it is “lucky more serious consequences did not ensue” as a result of the stabbing.
